Why is everything in america so fake and materialistic? I wonder this alot. People make friends but only on the surface and nothing genuine. Swap numbers but get ghosted like are you for real? Why give me the nimber in the first place? Showing face? Because society says so you have to act kind and friendly?
Can you just be genuine!? We all want to project a certain image to the world apart from the real one. Fear of not being accepted is strong. As a kid you are told just be you, dont waste time being someone else. you dint understand this till you get older.
At the end of the day, i remember what my grandmother told me ” better to be alone then in a bad company”. Words which will for ever ring in my head. Hard to find good he genuine friends these days.
Then again we live in a society of illusion and mistrust, where what you are told is mot really the truth but deception with the media, so i should not be surprised.
They keep saying we are making things better but who are they kidding, we are more crippled then anything i feel, with modern day technology, or the use of it in methods. Ok i will stop here as i dont want to ramble on. If you are curious or want to share something please comment.
